Inside the Quiet Hours Where My Worlds Are Born

Where My Worlds Begin

Want to know the secret behind my magical worlds? It usually starts with me, a mug of coffee (well… what I call coffee. Sorry, Mom—it’s my one extra drink, I promise) and music that may or may not involve a lot of Taylor Swift. The creatures don’t just appear—they sneak in when I least expect them.

Sometimes they show up in the middle of the night, and I find myself tiptoeing out to my desk at 2am so I can catch them while they’re still fresh in my mind. Honestly, it’s not that unusual for me. I’m often awake around 2 or 3 in the morning anyway (sleep issues—but that’s a blog for another time).

Harvest Hollow itself was born in those strange quiet hours. That’s when my creativity seems the strongest. But here’s the thing: one night, I realized Harvest Hollow wasn’t the only world I wanted to share through Warrior Dragon Design. There was more—so much more.

These new places in my imagination are where creativity meets the whimsical, decorative side of me. They’re softer, cozier, and sometimes more about the setting than the creatures themselves.

The first one that revealed itself to me was Whispering Thicket—my cottagecore dreamscape. Picture this: a little creature in a sunflower field, holding a basket overflowing with flowers, wearing a faded apron she’s clearly loved for years. Now picture the same scene again—but this time, no creature. Just the thicket itself. That’s the heart of this realm: sometimes the magic is in the place, not the character.

Don’t worry—the creatures aren’t going anywhere. They’ll always be part of my worlds. But these new realms give me the chance to share everything floating in my head—not just the creature stories.

When I first thought about introducing them, I actually hopped on ChatGPT (yes, really!) and asked if it was a good business move. The answer? It might be an interesting adventure. And you know what? I couldn’t agree more.

The first glimpses of these realms are tucked inside my Mini-Holiday Collection. Just little sprinkles here and there. But trust me—there’s more to come. One day soon, I’ll officially introduce you to Whispering Thicket and the other realms. I can’t wait for you to explore them with me.
